Rules
The T-Shirt Design must be your own original, unpublished (not in a book or magazine) work. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work, and Portland Backpack has exclusive rights to use your design.
Although the front of the design is most important, you may also use the back of the T-Shirt in your overall design plan. Submit the front and back as separate files.
The T-Shirt is intended for people of all ages and genders.
T-Shirt design must include at least one of the following:
a box of Mac and Cheese
a macaroni noodle
the name ‘Portland Backpack’
The designer's signature incorporated into the design in a demure, mindful, and cutsey way is allowed.
As the designer, you get to recommend the color of the T-Shirt that you believe best compliments your design. You will be presented options if you win.
No nudity, profanity, religious, political, or violent images will be accepted
Open to:
Any K-8 student in Portland, Oregon
Only one entry per student
T-shirts and other merchandise will be available in our online store for a limited time for the 2025/26 school year!

Designs will be posted in a Facebook Contest where community members can vote with like, laugh, and love reacts. The two designs with the most reactions will take two of the $50 prizes while the staff choice will take the third.
