We here at Portland Backpack want to thank the community for the overwhelming response in supporting the Portland Parks Free Lunch and Play Program. All of our shifts are full and those that have signed up have been waitlisted.
We may need additional assistance for packing food sacks and making care cards at our warehouse Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11am-2pm. Please watch our website and other social media accounts for details. If your organization or company would like to hold a private packing or care card event please reach out.

Volunteer Dropoff for Food Donations:
Join us to pack or organize at home or corporate packing events (Portland BackPack Food Packing List). Even a few hours can have a big impact. Drop off days for donations for the summer are Tuesdays from 11:00 am-2:00 pm and Wednesdays 11:00am-2:00pm. Please schedule an appointment for drop off or private packing events. Thank you
